Constitution Day

Today is September 17th. Do you know why this date is so important? Okay, it’s our daughter’s birthday! However, it is also Constitution Day: the day in 1787 that our Constitution was ratified. If you know me personally or from Facebook, you know that I am always ranting posting about politics, education, including civics, and other related topics. I found a short video that nicely explains why you should be concerned about the future of our country:

If you would have been included in the stats listed in the video, please educate yourself about our founding documents, the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, and the Constitution. Knowledge of these documents is imperative to the survival of our country and its freedoms–your freedoms. I have put two links below, including one from Hillsdale College which offers FREE online courses for anyone to take on the Constitution, as well as history and economics (no official grades or credit; it’s for your own edification). I hope you will deem this an important enough subject on which to educate yourself and others.
