Cast Iron Creations

Last night, I texted my Southern Man and asked, “Whaddya want fer supper?” He texted back “????”, to which I replied, “Pasta? Pizza?” He then texted, “Sure” to which I replied, “You are no help” and he texted back, “Thank you. 🙂 ”

We had pasta with a green pepper, onion, and venison meat sauce. Tonight, we shall have pizza with toppers of mushroom, green pepper, onion, garlic, and venison. Normally, I make a dough and, because I am not the best at working with dough, plop it on my oblong stone and roll it out. Tonight, however, I am going to try something a little different: use my largest cast iron skillet. OR–just got a brilliant flash of light over my head–my new cast iron griddle/grill. Oh boy, decisions! I will let you know what I decided and how it comes out. If it’s a success, recipe to follow! If not, I was never here and you never read this….
